This policy explains how KF Design, operated by Oleksii Dobriakov in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, handles information through kfdesign.site and the KF Design Website application used for email notifications. Questions and privacy requests can be sent to kfdesignalex@gmail.com.
Information you provide
When you contact us or request an estimate, we collect the information you submit, such as your name, email, phone number, company, project location, project description, service interests, drawings, photos, uploaded files and shared links. Optional fields are not required to request an estimate. Please share only materials you are authorized to provide and avoid unnecessary sensitive personal information.
How we use your information
We use inquiry information to respond, prepare estimates, discuss project requirements, provide agreed services and maintain project records. We also process technical information to operate the website, prevent abuse and investigate errors. Submitting an inquiry does not automatically subscribe you to a marketing mailing list.
Website analytics and cookies
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand visits, traffic sources, pages viewed and interactions such as estimate-button clicks and successful form submissions. Analytics can use cookies and collect browser and device information, approximate location and online identifiers. Our custom inquiry events do not include the text of your inquiry or uploaded files. Hosting and security services may also process IP addresses and request logs.
You can manage cookies in your browser and use the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on. Blocking cookies may affect website features and does not necessarily prevent all technical data processing. Learn how Google uses information from websites using its services.
Google account access and Gmail notifications
KF Design Website uses Google authorization for the business owner’s account to send internal inquiry notifications through the Gmail API. Website visitors do not need to connect a Google account. The application requests the owner’s basic account identity and email information to verify the authorized account, and permission to send email. It does not request permission to read the Gmail inbox or access Google Drive files or contacts.
Authorization credentials are stored on the website server, with stored OAuth secrets encrypted, and used to maintain the authorized email connection. Inquiry notifications contain a request reference and a link to the private administration dashboard; they do not include uploaded project files or the full inquiry text. Google processes these outgoing messages to provide email delivery.
KF Design Website’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Google account data is used for the notification function described here, not for advertising or training generalized AI models. The account owner can revoke access in Google Account permissions and remove the stored connection in the website administration settings.
Storage, providers and sharing
Inquiries are stored in the website’s private administration area. Uploaded files are stored outside the public website directory and access is restricted by the application. We use InterServer for hosting and Google for email and analytics. These providers process information as needed to supply their services. External links and third-party services are subject to their own privacy policies.
Project information may be shared with collaborators when needed for a project you authorize. We do not sell inquiry information or Google account data. Information may also be disclosed where required by law or necessary to protect the service from abuse.
Retention and security
We retain information as needed to handle inquiries, deliver services, maintain business records and meet applicable obligations. Website cleanup is configured to expire cleared uploads after 90 days from upload and other temporary uploads after 7 days; closed inquiry records are scheduled for deletion after one year and spam records after 30 days. These processes depend on scheduled tasks running successfully. Active project records, email correspondence and backup copies may remain for longer.
We use access controls and other safeguards, but no internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure. To request access, correction or deletion of information you provided, contact kfdesignalex@gmail.com. We may need to verify your identity and retain information where necessary for legal or business recordkeeping obligations.
